Rhapsody Pastiche 3

Prof.Niall Ferguson's new book(Civilization: The West and The Rest) and his discourse at various institutions reveal the fact that some developing countries including China are copying or downloading six killer apps of the west which is marginalized by the catchers-up.

From the standpoint of other lens the Achilles heel in China resides there--the apps copied can't be installed completely on the defected hard disc infected by feudal virus--the decentralization is far from satisfaction as Ms He, Qing-lian, et al pointed out--monopoly by state enterprise and cascade bankruptcy tide of small to medium size one at present, the professional ethics is a virtual reality and the private property rights is not well-respected as such forced uprooting during city rebuilt progress, let alone democracy. It's a cliche spreading over a century:"Mr.Confucius has gone, but Mr.democracy and science not yet arrived".

Recently I discovered a strange phenomenon which may indicates some omen. On the National Day Zhejing TV station broadcast an episode of memorial service at revolutionary martyrs mausoleum in Hangzhou. Much to my puzzlement it's the funeral music that performed during the ritual and the finale turned out to be International Song. Meanwhile at CCTV's central memorial service funeral music never appears, which indicates the "protocol" emphasized by Confucius is not mastered by someone in Hangzhou or sabotage occurred in order to damage National Day. Perhaps KMT's defunct policing headquarter was fighting against communist regime, but somehow the KMT's impostor(revolutionary committee) acted like communist because viewing an episode of interview between CCTV's anchor and it's chairman at Across the Taiwan Strait several months ago, I realized the chairman was reciting People's Daily editorial to reinforce "Four Essential Principles". Perhaps the edifice of communist has been dilapidated. Then both CCP and KMT has encountered trouble--like North and South Dynasty in the history of China.

More ironically the International Song is rarely broadcast recently simply because it can ignite people's rights-defending movement. You see, the party song of newly-founded Social Democratic Party of China applies the same melody and theme together with variation. So I obtained incentive to defend my rights.

Anyway absolute power leads to absolute corruption. I recalled Chairman Ma used to be a fierce anti-graft minister of justice, should anti-graft movement be carried out in blue political spectrum dominated area? By the way Chairman Ma endeavoured to promote standard Chinese character, I happened to find heavy discount books in simplified character occurred in some chain bookstores on TV in Taiwan. I wonder if the regime in China has been transformed into what Dr. Daniel Chiro described "Argentine General" type--mixing with corruption, certitude and pragmatism(see previous blog).

I also recalled some scene in 1989 when the communist regime of Romania collapsed and Ceausescu got hanged in the aftermath of "June 4th" incident, I acclaimed the victory:"There exists one lesser dictator in the world", and celebrated it with my classmate.

I can only pray God regimes under the label of corruption, certitude, hypocrisy will become less and less.
