Recently I read a series of news reports and commentaries on toxic capsule in China. The media ranges from The South Metropolitan News(4/16/12, 4/21/12) and The Evening News on Rule of Law(4/20/12) to independent author Hong Sheng and CCTV anchor Zhao, Pu. Please check out the link: http://boxun.com/news/gb/china/2012/04/201204202339.shtml and http://boxun.com/news/gb/china/2012/04/201204212258.shtml . Much to my awesomeness, my mind drifted through Dr.Louis Cha's novel"The Legend of Condor Hero"(I just made some correction on my Apr.10 blog about Jin Yung's novel) in which one figure is called "Eastside wicked pharmacist Wong and his counterpart is called "Westside toxin alchemist OhYang Fung", people need to consume tremendous energy to withstand the poison they concocted.
In essence this kind of things is nothing new under the sun--a variation of Ginseng Chow's game --vest-interest's closet scheme--black gold politics which used to be denounced by the media across Taiwan Strait including the Op-Ed page of the mouthpiece of Chinese government. I wonder if yesterday is right and today is wrong or vice versa. Mr.Wan, Yan-hai's article also echoes my criticism on conflict of interest(See my blog "Under the Same Roof" last year). You see the mutual coaxing and hoaxing performed in China everyday, so derives an article titled"Everyday is April Fool's Day in China by Liu Shui(pen name Ba Jiu) at Hong Kong's Trend Magazine(April issue of 2012)(http://www.chengmingmag.com/t320/select/320sel13.html .
I have several words for this kind of spoofing phenomenon:1. it's all about self-composing, self-conducting, self-performing; 2.Catch me if you can; 3.Malicious cycle if I wish.
I once responded to CIBC's quest for the purpose on my fund-raising, of which galactic diplomacy
is one of my tasks. Considering Chinese government's claim that her people seem to be lack of the nurture of democracy to practice it, I've already suggested that the counterpart Western Confucius Institute can be established in China to cultivate such virtue. It occurred to me that Plato-Tocqueville Institute can be the best bet for the name. I suppose every sinologist knows "The legend of Wu Xun" in China-- giving underdog group free education through his begging for money, meanwhile our Canadian government doesn't have such budget to spread democracy.
Facing blackbox and blackhole operation on my fund-raising, I just feel too sad to weep. Confucius said:"Harsh governance is more vicious than tigers". I wish Gentile's manipulation won't impose upon me.
