The trouble resides in lack of some fundamentals such as the course of apologetics and scientific spirits(mainly doubtfulness, criticism, analysis and verification). Even Karl Marx's humanitarianism and the alienation of human nature can't be discussed, how can the slogan "Humanity as Sovereignty" be realized?
Currently I find a vivid example to show us the problem of tergiversation and detachment with reality in some diagram for politics to discern the left and right wing in the website http://news.backchina.com/viewnews-183841-gb2312.html (originally from http://cnpolitics.org/ ). Since the right wing espouses Hayek, Lock, Tocqueville, Mills etc, how can they disrespect property ownership? Under such diagram China's right wing returns to Mao's era instead of saying farewell. The Hollywood harbors the left wing defending multi-culturalism, somehow China's left wing becomes hostile to Hollywood culture, that means they oppose multi-culturalism and even behave like racists.
I'm afraid students will be misguided or perplexed.
