Conundrum

In a counterfeit-like, paradoxical world, are we in a sphere that yesterday was right, today is wrong or today is right, yesterday was wrong? It's a question of philosophy of history, question of anthropology regarding political, economical, social and cultural aspect.

It seems the fittest to survive in our society should be like Wei, Xiao-bao under Mr.Jin, Yong's pen(Royal Tramp)--one must do bamboozling, blackmail, defamation, murder, encroachment, flattery, bribery, mutual utilization and mutual struggling. The pity is I can't learn such kind of survival skill, hence I can't be adapted to current ambiance.

The only reform-minded emperor Guang-xu in the second half of 19th century had to be succumbed to his mother, Ci-xi, a control freak who led to fiasco. Other princes also were puppets, or did power play with each other. At the same period, Japanese prince Ito Hirozumi went to Europe to study western democratic model. History is a mirror: Spoofing-people policy+control freak=utter failure.
